Thai Yoga Massage

Thai Yoga Massage combines the practices of Shiatsu, Acupressure, Reflexology and Yoga to provide a complete body and mind therapy.

It has been called “the Buddha’s Medicine”.

It is useful for psychological issues such as anxiety, depression and stress as well as physical tightness, pain and discomfort. It is also a wonderful means of maintaining well-being.

Usually the person wears light comfortable clothing and the body is stretched and pressed from toe to head, front and back. Particular areas of discomfort can be highlighted. The process is usually experienced as a combination of calmness and lightness.

Our Therapist

Dr Peter Spencer practised as a Chartered Health Psychologist for many years, working with patients with chronic pain and fatigue. Peter is a trained yoga teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga.

A Buddhist, he is trained in mindfulness and meditation and has lived in Thailand where he was trained in Thai Yoga Massage. Body and Mind are inseparable and this informs Peter’s approach to therapy.
